- We did, I *think* (don't quote me), have some sort of problem with
- Ciscos which they provided a microcode fix for.

-
- sounds like a great test to me.
- You might try iptrace/ipreport on 3.2. Try the -rsn flags.
-
- Usage: ipreport [-r -s -n -1 -2] tracefile
- -r: know about rpc
- -s: start lines with protocol indicator strings
- -n: number packets
- -1: trace was generated on AIX3.1
- -2: trace was generated on AIX3.2 (default)
-
- Ipreport will give you a great idea of what packets should look like.

- Latest ipreport is in ...
-
- 52961: ix25406 IPREPORT DOES NOT RECOGNIZED 'IFT_OTHER' ID
- In the LPP bosnet, PTF U406320 shipped the following files:
- /usr/bin/ipreport
- /usr/bin/iptrace
-
- Latest nfs.ext is in ...
- 56404: ix26926 PERFORMANCE DEGRADATION AND NFS REQUEST FAILING WITH TIMEOUT
- In the LPP bos, PTF U406298 shipped the following files:
- /etc/nfs.ext
- /usr/etc/rpc.lockd
-
- This last PTF is not shipped yet, I don't know why. Hopefully it will
- be ready soon. The first on is orderable now. This is 3.2 only info.
