- I am using PC-NFS V3.5 on a 386 machine running DOS 5 with a HP720 'Snake'
- box as my server. The problem that I am having is that certain DOS programs
- are unable to 'find' files in directories on the mounted drive. DIR shows
- the files as being present, my PC editors are happy to open the files and
- write them back OK but the BACKUP command, for example, can't find the
- files. I have check the file and directory permissions User RWX all the way
- down the path and the files themselves.
-
- Can anyone point me at what I have missed - please ?
-
- Many Thanks,
-
- Peter Green.
