- I have a couple of questions about PC-NFS. First, why is it that a remote
- shell executed from a machine that is logged in as 'nobody' has the root
- uid and gid? This is true of version 3.0.1 and 3.5. I haven't yet tried
- with version 4.0. Second, version 4.0 mentions version 2 of the pcnfsd.
- How do I get version 2 so that I can port it to my various machines?
-
- Please respond with email as I do not get the chance to read news that
- often.
