  13. I want to provide NFS support for a project I'm working on at home.

  15. I will have a V40 processor card with 1M of memory & an ethernet
  16. interface. It will have a ram-disk implemented on it, and I would
  17. like to have the ability to NFS mount filesystems from existing
  18. NFS servers.

  20. So I'm looking for pointers to non-commercial, small, NFS client
  21. source code. I've already got 386BSD, and I'm looking at that,
  22. but if anyone has already invented a freely distributable version of
  23. this particular wheel, I'd love to hear from you. There will be
  24. a socket level programming interface provided.

  26. If I am willing to ignore user-id/printer issues (ie, only export
  27. read-only/disposable filesystems from the server) am I right in
  28. thinking that I can ignore things like pscnfsd ?

  30. I have the Usenix paper & the RFCs, so even XDR/RPC/portmapper
  31. source code would be very useful.
