- We are looking for advise on tools/packages that will allow us to measure
- the performance impact of running 3270 emulation using a combination of
- the following products:
-
- OpenLink - a TCP/IP package for MVS from Net. Solutions
- Packet/Main - an MVS based 3270 emulation manager
- VTAM - used for communication between OpenLink-Packet/M
-
- What we would like to be able to measure is the performance impact each
- of these products has on our 3090. What tools are available from IBM
- or other sources? Also, any performance data/opinions on OpenLink and
- Packet/Main would be appreciated.
