  13. Hello.  I don't read this newsgroup, so if you would be so kind as to e-mail
  14. me a response, I would sure appreciate it.  Also, forgive me if this is a
  15. FAQ, but I did not see it in the FAQ for CAP.

  17. I have an IPX with two ethernet boards in it.  I'd like to use EtherTalk
  18. Phase 2 on each interface, *WITHOUT* routing.  We have all the routing we
  19. need between networks (several) but to handle the massive traffic from
  20. multi-megabyte files being printed to appletalk printers, I'd like to save
  21. the routers a little trouble and just print to either network directly.

  23. I.e.  I have net A and net B, and I want the Unix Machines on net A to send
  24. files to the Net A address of the IPX, and I want the Unix Machines on net B
  25. to send files to the Net B address of the IPX.  That's no problem with IP.
  26. But, I want the files to go out the right port.  I.e., if I have a printer
  27. on net A, I want the file to be printed (with papif) via the Net A interface
  28. on the IPX, and ditto for net B.

  30. Unfortunately, when I try and get aarpd to run on le0, and then on le1, I
  31. get "can't start ZIS. . ." and things go crazy.

  33. If *absolutely* necessary, I can seed one (or both) of the ports, though I
  34. *REALLY* don't want do this.  Since the etalk.local files starts with
  35.  
  36. interface    "le0"

  38. I assume (probably incorrectly) that you could have multiple interfaces.

  42. Oh, and by the way, it works just fine on a single ethernet.
