  30. I have 2 copies of NFS/Share that I received when I bought Shiva
  31. FastPath5s. When I received the copy, it was an old version and when I
  32. called Intercon about upgrade, I got a very good respond. A week or
  33. so, after I registered the program, I received an update version 1.1.1 free.

  35. I installed NFS/Share 1.1.1 immidiately discovered conflict with
  36. my PageMaker file. It scared me for a while because my perfectly done
  37. pagemaker file is no longer openable and the error says it was
  38. damaged. When I removed NFS/Share and restarted my mac, PageMaker did not
  39. complain and my file opened with no problem. So I dump the NFS/Share
  40. into my Trash can and keep the original program somewhere in my BUGGY
  41. box. I have not used it since then and told everyone this same story.

  43. What scared me most is the possibility that other programs may also
  44. have conflict with NFS/Share and there is no way for me to find out.
  45. Imagine finding out in the morning that your file is DAMAGED and you
  46. need it.

  48. I contacted Intercon and apparently Intercon already knew about the
  49. problem but FAILED to inform its users or provide update.

  51. That was the beginning of 1992. I am still waiting for upgrade and a
  52. working version of NFS/Share.
