  14. According to our local TMC rep, C* code written for the CM2 should compile
  15. and otherwise behave nicely on the CM5, with  the important exception that the
  16. CM5 does not support any Parallel Instruction Set (PARIS) calls whatsoever.
  17. (That means no complex type - yuck) However, CM operarators such as scan, reduce, etc. will still be supported on the new machine.  If you're interested, there's a brief description of C* on the CM5 in the "CM5 Technical Summary"
