  17. As part of our multiprocessing hardware project, we are looking 
  18. for some commercially available bit-parallel crossbar switching 
  19. chips. So far we've found a couple of such chips; for instance, 
  20. AMD's Am29C983 Multiple Bus Exchange chip and TI's 74ACT8841 
  21. (I heard that the TI chip is now obsolete). Are there other such 
  22. chips available in the market (or in the research lab) ?
