- An easy way to solve the "FID => Filename ??" portion of the query stated in
- the subject line, is use the the ANALYZE/DISK_STRUCTURE/LIST[=filespec]
- command, which according to the HELP utility "produces a list of the index
- file in file number order, containing the file identification, file name, and
- owner UIC of each file. The list is copied to the specified file. Then if you
- know the file id, you can use an editor or the SEARCH utility to find it along
- with the associated file name.
