  13. An easy way to solve the "FID => Filename ??" portion of the query stated in
  14. the subject line, is use the the ANALYZE/DISK_STRUCTURE/LIST[=filespec]
  15. command, which according to the HELP utility "produces a list of the index
  16. file in file number order, containing the file identification, file name, and
  17. owner UIC of each file.  The list is copied to the specified file. Then if you 
  18. know the file id, you can use an editor or the SEARCH utility to find it along 
  19. with the associated file name.
