- In the quest for the end to the tight-budget-big-wishes battle:
-
- A SURVEY OF SORTS:
-
- Who do you use for Refurbished Digital Products?
-
- What type/model of character termninal do you utilize the most at your site?
-
- Have you had success with Refurbished Products? (esp. terminals)

- Thanks!
-
- I am trying to find a supplier/successful way to get a hold of low cost
- terminals. The prices our decCritter has offered me (with educational
- discount no less) are out of my league. With many people converting to
- more expensive X based terminals I am guessing that there may be a good
- size discount market for used vt200/300 terms out there!???! Our Library
- has installed several WYSE brand terminals with much success. I myself am
- partial to DEC for nostalgic reasons but after using a WYSE I am open to
- suggestions???

-
- !!!!!!!!SIDE QUESTION
-
- I may have asked this before but.....
-
- We are in the process of creating groups of local mailing lists. This
- provides users with common needs (cs faculty) for example to post to a
- local list. I am thinking of expanding on this idea and offering services
- based on membership in groups. Example: STAFF would have access to minutes
- of faculty discussion groups.
-
- For sanity and foresight purposes, I am slowly adding identifiers in to sysuaf
- of the id names matching them to users who are members of that group.
- Example: DEEMANJ (user) is a holder of CSFACULTY (rights id). Based on
- this:
-
- Is there a way (or utility/program) to create a list of users who hold the
- same identifier. I have looked at an elderly copy of WHO written by a guy
- at xerox in palo alto but it falls short of doing this.
-
- ANY HELP and ->NICE<- suggestions would be appreciated!!
-
-
- Thanks for your time,
- Matt
