- Hi all.. Can anybody tell me how to enable hardware handshaking
- (rts/cts) on my MM1's /T4 port? I changed the type byte with dEd and
- made a new boot like Krieder said in his documentation, but it still
- doesn't work properly. Half of the flow control works: When sending
- beyond the capabilities of the receiver, the CTS light on the modem will
- go off and TxD will halt until CTS comes on again. Unfortunately, I
- have no RTS light, but I know that RxD never stops and I can see the
- results of the buffer overrun. Any ideas? I checked to make sure that
- the term program (vt100) was _not_ changing the "type" when it starts.
- XMode for /T4 (I have no /T3 port) reports:
-
- | /t4
- | noupc bsb bsl echo lf null=0 pause pag=24 bsp=08 del=18 eor=0D
- | eof=1B reprint=04 dup=01 psc=17 abort=03 quit=05 bse=08 bell=07
- | type=80 baud=38400 xon=11 xoff=13 tabc=09 tabs=4
-
- I'm also experiencing some interesting(?) problems with my /T1 port.
- Whenever it is not is use, it starts sending garbage characters out to the
- modem contituously. Also, I can not get it to run reliably above 1200bps.
- Is there a fix for this?
