- I am running OS/2 v2.0 on a 25MHz 386 with 8M RAM, AMI BIOS, and a
- TRIDENT SVGA graphics card with 1M RAM. I have recently installed
- EmTeX, and it all seems to be working except for DVISCR. It works if I
- manually select CGA mode, but if set for automatic graphics-mode
- selection, or if set to an EGA or VGA mode, it gives the following error:
-
- 2520: **** graphics mode not supported .
-
- OS/2 uses 800x600 SVGA mode as I currently have it set up. I don't
- understand why DVISCR cannot get the card to run in any mode other than
- CGA emulation. Would anyone know if it is due to the virtualisation of
- the screen under OS/2? I read in the documentation that it should be
- possible to set explicit parameters for the screen mode, and
- unfortunately there are no supplied parameters for the TRIDENT SVGA.
- Is it just that I need the correct values for AX and BX for the INT 10
- interrupt? If so, does anyone know what they should be for the TRIDENT
- card (my documentation doesn't mention anything on this level).
-
- Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can give me in this.
-
- Tony.
