  19. The 3Com 503 is a completely different card than the 3Com 507.

  21. The 503 (which is available in a 16-bit version, btw), uses the
  22. nat semi 8390 NIC, and the 3Com 507 uses the intel 82586 NIC, 
  23. which is about as different as you can get.
