- Hello,
-
- I'm in the process of installing an OS/2 2.0 machine in our network.
-
- One of our main applications is a German fulltext database. This system
- synchronizes its data-access using a netware-system-call.
-
- Running in a DOS-Session this fails. The failure differs between a private
- and a global session, but it fails in both.
- I had a call to the developers, and they told me the Netware Requester
- would "eat" their "logical record locks" system calls.
-
- They told me as a workaround to use the MS-Net mode :-)
-
- Has anyone out there an Idea what happens there ? Is there a fix from Novell
- available ? Can I solve that by proper configuration ?
-
- (Sorry for the extensive crossposting, but I think know-how about OS/2 2.0
- and Novell ist still rare these days...)
-
- Thanks in advanve for any hint!
-
- Regards
-
- Christoph Weber-Fahr
