  30. QUITE right.  For example, I want to start kermit in a WINDOW. I seems
  31. that all the things I try either starts it minimize  or fullscrren or
  32. SOMETHING.  Ack!

  37. I've finally gotten a DOS Cli window to pop up.
  38. I made a 'dosbox.cmd' which says 'start /dos /win' in it.  It is 
  39. an unfortunate workaround, but get me a windows DOS cli eventually (at first
  40. there is a 'dosbox.cmd' window.  I hate having that OS/2 cmd floating
  41. around extra.

  43. Isn't there some default 'I want a command.com, but in a WINDOW by default?'

  45. Hmm.  Is it possible to having this desktop pop up menu to simply
  46. 'point' to an OBJECT o nthe desktop?  Like, for the SO/2 system Editor,
  47. pop up Os/2 sys editor as if I clicked on the icon, saying 'OS/2 System Editor'
  48. on the top and everything?  Also, I noticed that the Sys Editor defaults
  49. on 'starting' in the directory from which it was launched when you 'open'
  50. a file.  Is there was way to make the root directory the default place to look?
  51. I'd hate to keep a copy of it in the root directory to accomplish this...
