- This question is rapidly becoming an FAQ, so perhaps I'll add it to
- the next list.

- Pulse (and similar utilities) is not intended to be a rigorous
- performance monitor. Trust your subjective assessment of system
- performance first. When running DOS programs Pulse will often soar to
- 100% for no apparent reason; with OS/2 programs Pulse can determine
- CPU utilization much more accurately, but even there some problems can
- arise.
