- First, be sure you've the following files in your system:

- \OS2\DLL\UHPFS.DLL
- \OS2\HPFS.IFS

- This being done, add the following line to the top of config.sys
- (first line):

- IFS=C:\OS2\HPFS.IFS /CACHE:512 /CRECL:4 /AUTOCHECK:D

- There are other parameters (like lazy writes) which you may want to
- play with. See your Command Reference for details on the various
- parameters you can provide.
