- I think the DOS SEttings idle detection only detects certain standard
- kinds of polling, such as using the BIOS services to poll the keyboard
- etc.

- Most of the NCSA Telnet ethernet drivers poll the ethernet device by
- doing direct I/O to the Ethernet board. I very much doubt if OS/2 has
- anyway to figure out that this is "idle" polling, as opposed to doing
- useful work.
