  12. Several people have kindly given me instructions about moving from a fully 
  13. FAT system to a HPFS system, and the consensus is that I need to back up my 
  14. data, reinstall OS/2 with HPFS, and restore again.

  17. apart from one BIG hassle I can see. Do I have to reinstall the default 
  18. DESKTOP under HPFS, then customize it from scratch? This would be an 
  19. incredible pain. If there's a way to save my current desktop settings, then 
  20. restore them under HPFS, I'd be very grateful to anybody who could tell me 
  21. how.
