  21. I did say no with respect to OS2BOOT.  (I have been told via netmail
  22. that some people have succeeded in unmarking and defragmenting this
  23. file, but I don't recommend it.)

  29. Partly experience, partly an educated guess.

  31. The safest course, and the course I still recommend, is not to tamper
  32. -- just defragment without unmarking anything.  The performance
  33. difference is likely to be miniscule.
