- Hello -
- I use CKERMIT as my comm program under os/2. I would like to use the
- OS/2 port of Zmodem for downloads. I have ckermit set up to use com3:
- on my machine. Everything works fine until I attempt to shell out to
- the command prompt from kermit and fire up zmodem. It insists that
- the port cannot be opened. I indicate in the command line switches
- for zmodem to use com3, disable the carrier detect, baud rate etc,
- etc, but still get a message that the port cannot be opened.
-
- If I fire up zmodem in its terminal mode, everything also works fine.
- I saw the recent posts for the patched gacomm drivers, and replaced
- the old com drivers with the new ones.
-
- Anyone have any suggestions? (Other than get a new comm program?)
- Thanks
- Steve
