- When starting up a dos task within OS/2, is there any capability for the
- automatic execution of the equivalent of an autoexec.bat file
- corresponding to what happens in vanilla DOS?
-
- I've tried to wade through the various help screens, and I've seen
- the stuff regarding association of device drivers with the startup of
- DOS tasks, but I've seen nothing regarding any autoexec.bat capability.
-
- I realize that it is possible to convert every migrated DOS task that
- requires establishment of an environment into a batch job whose first
- command would be a call to another batch file, say startup.bat, which
- establishes a path, other environment variables, etc., but I was hoping
- that there would be an easier way to accomplish this.
-
- Thanks in advance for your advice.
