- Hi netters !
- I have 386 system with Dual Boot OS/2 and MS DOS. Last week I found
- that my EA DATA. SF file has more than 300 pieces. To defragment this file
- I used procedure from "Inside OS/2" "
- Boot OS/2
- ATTRIB -H EA?DATA.?SF
- Boot MS DOS
- Using Norton Speed Disk defragment file
- Boot OS/2
- ATTRIB +H EA?DATA.?SF
-
- After all of this I find that my file was still fragmented.
-
- Using MS DOS ATTRIB gave me error message " System re-installation error"
- or somethink like this ( I don't remember exact message ).
-
- Could anybody tell me what I did wrong or mail me proper procedure to
- defragment file
-
- E-mail me at lbriskin@digi.lonestar.org
-
- Thanks in advance,
- Leonid Briskin
