  12. Hi netters !
  13. I have 386 system with Dual Boot OS/2 and MS DOS. Last week I found
  14. that my EA DATA. SF file has more than 300 pieces. To defragment this file
  15. I used procedure from "Inside OS/2" "
  16.   Boot OS/2
  17.   ATTRIB -H EA?DATA.?SF
  18.   Boot MS DOS
  19.   Using Norton Speed Disk defragment file
  20.   Boot OS/2
  21.   ATTRIB +H EA?DATA.?SF
  22.  
  23. After all of this I find that my file was still fragmented.

  25. Using MS DOS ATTRIB gave me error message " System re-installation error"
  26. or somethink like this ( I  don't remember exact message ).

  28. Could anybody tell me what I did wrong or mail me proper procedure to
  29. defragment file
