  13. I am planning to use OS/2 on my next computer, not least because there
  14. is a GNU Emacs available for it.  Now, you probably know all the
  15. expansions of the acronym EMACS so I won't repeat them here.  Suffice
  16. it to say that Emacs is big and even on the Sparc I am using to write
  17. this article, it swaps like mad.  So my query: what are people's
  18. estimates/experiences on what the minimal system requirement is for
  19. running Emacs reasonably responsive _alongside_ the WPS?

  21. If at all possible, reply by email cos although I find this newsgroups
  22. one of the most informative and friendly ones, I just can't keep up
  23. with its enormous traffic, folks.
