- I am planning to use OS/2 on my next computer, not least because there
- is a GNU Emacs available for it. Now, you probably know all the
- expansions of the acronym EMACS so I won't repeat them here. Suffice
- it to say that Emacs is big and even on the Sparc I am using to write
- this article, it swaps like mad. So my query: what are people's
- estimates/experiences on what the minimal system requirement is for
- running Emacs reasonably responsive _alongside_ the WPS?
-
- If at all possible, reply by email cos although I find this newsgroups
- one of the most informative and friendly ones, I just can't keep up
- with its enormous traffic, folks.
-
- Thanks.
