- Is this in the FAQ list yet? The DOS box does NOT truncate any
- filenames. A file which doesn't conform to 8.3 simply DOES NOT EXIST
- as far as DOS boxes are concered. They can not see the file, let
- alone try to read or write them.

- Since an OS/2 boot disk must be 2 floppies, anyway, just diskcopy a
- few copies of your first two install disks. The "install" disk and
- "disk 1" are all you need to get going. I have two extra copies of
- these disks for emergency use.
