- The DOS prompt on OS/2 will see HPFS files. It will truncate the names, but
- you
- can still run dos. The only place I use FAT partitions is on floppys and
- that's
- cuz I have to. DOS works fine (even the booted version under OS/2). HPFS is
- MUCH MUCH BETTER to run OS/2 under. Every time I've run FAT partions for OS/2,
- I kept losing my extended attributes. If you boot a DOS disk however, you will
- not see any HPFS partions. I keep an OS/2 boot disk around just to be safe.
- You can make one with the file MKBTDISK.ZIP. I'm not sure if it's on this bbs.
