- JH>This is probably the 'logic' used by IBM but I think its faulty. While
- JH>it *may* be true that the directory settings are different, its not
- JH>necessarily true. Also, I don't see why the program settings would
- JH>necessarily be any different just because the program resides on
- JH>a different machine. If the path/working directory is different
- JH>on the new machine the program object wouldn't work. This is no
- JH>different than if you moved the executable around on the original
- JH>system. This won't result in a fatal error, the system just won't
- JH>be able to execute the program and it will bring up the settings

- JH>my system, regardless of whether it resides on floppy or hard

-
- JH>BTW, if OS/2 is going to prevent this operation from taking place,
- JH>an alert should come up with a message telling you that you can't

- JH>selected files would be copies. Selecting Cancel would cancel
- JH>the entire operation.

-
- JH>Hopefully someone from IBM is listening and will pass this

-
- You can't drag and drop the program objects, but you can copy them. Just use
- eautil and split them off into files and join them again on the destination
- system.
