  21. The short answer is yes. It might be a good idea that before you hit the
  22. power switch you add the following line to your config.sys file:

  24. set RESTARTOBJECTS=STARTUPFOLDERSONLY
  25.  
  26. This will insure that only applications in your startup folder will get
  27. restarted the next time you boot up. Thus effectively killing any runaway
  28. program that would be restarted over again.
