  27. Not exactly.  IBM expects that OS/2 2.0 will run on systems that have
  28. autoparking hard drives, since almost anything beyond 30 MB does.  In
  29. my opinion it is a reasonable expectation.

  31. However, I have a kludgey workaround for you.  Create a bootable DOS
  32. floppy diskette (FORMAT A: /S from native DOS).  Copy the PARK program
  33. to the diskette.  Put PARK in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file on the floppy disk
  34. as the last line.

  36. Then, after you Shutdown from OS/2 (and get the message saying
  37. shutdown has completed), put this "park diskette" in your floppy drive
  38. (Drive A) and press CTRL-ALT-DEL.  When it finishes, turn off your
  39. computer and put your "park diskette" in a safe place for use the next
  40. time you want to shut off your computer.
