  15. True, but at least I do get one full screen DOS session, currently under
  16. os\2 I get finger exercise pushing the reset button.

  18. I a bit p*ssed, after all in IBM's docs it clearly states that os\2
  19. works with Tseng based video cards.  THIS IS NOT TRUE.  It doesn't work
  20. with ET3000 based cards (well) and a seperate patch is required to get
  21. it to work with ET4000 based cards.  This certainly suggests that they
  22. did not testing on this type of card.  Someone, decided that there were
  23. a lot to Tseng based cards out there so ... they 'claimed' it would
  24. work.  Normal people call this a lie, car salesmen call it a deal and
  25. corporations consider this SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).

  27. IBM's order takers should have a screening procedure ... something like
  28. this:
  29. Q1) Is any of your equipment over 1 yr old?
  30.   Y) You should know that os\2 will probably have difficulty with it.
  31.   N) os\2 might work with it, do you feel lucky?
  32.      Y) Sell quick
  33.      N) Tell them what a pleasant voice they have.

  36. doing would proably be out of business in a quater.
