  12. In the current issue of Dr. Dobb's Journal, there is an ad from
  13. Silicon Graphics advertising a new desktop system of theirs.  It is
  14. MIPS R4000 based.  They are using Windows/NT as its primary operating
  15. system.  The ad implies that it is available NOW.

  17. What's interesting is that they claim that it will run all Intel-based
  18. apps with "just a simple recompile".  I wonder who they expect to
  19. re-compile published apps like Lotus 1-2-3?

  21. Anyway, it's going to ship with NT and Microsoft C 7.0 on it.

  23. Now MS has BETTER ship NT on time or they're going to have one very
  24. very upset OEM vendor!
