- I am running GAUSS386 in a full-screen dos box with 8mb DPMI memory.
- The program I wrote for GAUSS generates graphs and everything seems to
- work fine except if I let it generate the graph in the background.
- After the program finishes the graph (it beeps when it's done) and I
- switch to it (from the WPS) using Alt-ESC or using the window list, the
- graphics screen is all messed up as if the monitor wasn't synced right.
-
- If I watch the program generate the graph and then switch to the WPS and
- then back again, everything is OK. (Note: the program starts out in
- text mode and then switches to 640x480x16 to plot the graph.)
-
- I have installed the VSVGA patch as per the FAQ and that didn't seem to
- affect the problem at all.
-
- I'm using a Gateway 486/33, 16mb memory, 320meg drive and a Diamond
- SpeedStart Plus with 1mb display memory.
