  37. Note also that (assuming Type 1 fonts) you must have the x.AFM file as
  38. well of the x.PFB font def file.  A lot of the fonts that are
  39. available for downloading right now have the x.PFM file instead of the
  40. x.AFM file.  Get the original x.AFM file that goes with the font if
  41. you can locate it, or otherwise retrieve pfm2afm.zoo from
  42. ftp-os2.nmsu.edu and use it to convert the x.PFM to an x.AFM.
