- Hi!
-
- Finally I've upgraded my 486/ISA to 20MB of memory.
- Has any1 collected the tips/tricks how to access this pile of memory
- in OS/2?
-
- I have applied the latest loader and I use the kernel that shrinks the
- swapfile. But the memavail-tool from hobbes tells me that I have only 16MB
- of memory. The bios knows about 20mb however.
- Can somebody answer the following questions:
-
- a. what was the occasional DMA limit on ISA machines? 16mb? 20mb? more ?
- b. does this mamavil-tool work properly?
- c. which configuration (kernel/loader patches) allows the full 20MB?
-
- Thanx, Andreas
-
- P.S. please reply by mail
