- I have the following setup":
-
- 486/33 24meg RAM (anyone care to post exactly what OS/2 will use the >16
- for?)
- C: IDE 200 meg HPFS
- D: IDE 120 meg FAT
-
- I am running Boot manager and have DOS bootable on the D: drive for that
- reason. My problem is that if I run a DOS program that is living on the
- D: drive then the VDM uses the D: autoexec file. This is extremely ugly
- as it is designed for the bootable DOS partition.
-
- I am using 4DOS and 4OS2. Here are some lines out of my coinfig.sys I
- think are relevant (and correct). 4DOS used to be on the D: drive but I
- put a copy on C: (HPFS) in the hope that it would not read the D:
- autoexec.
-
- SET COMSPEC=C:\4OS2\4OS2.EXE
- SHELL=C:\OS2\MDOS\4DOS\4DOS.COM C:\OS2\MDOS\4DOS\4DOS /P
