- Just a few thoughts on the topic. As previously posted, the ALT-drag is the
- only way to now change shadow text, but if you have previously changed
- settings via scheme palette or color palette they will not change when you
- ALT-drag (though this seems silly given what ALT-drag is suppose to do).

- Another consideration from the redbooks is that IBM suggests not using
- to many shadows for a couple of reasons 1) when you change things on the
- shadows settings, they are reflected in the original (which may or may
- not be good depending on your opinion) and 2) shadows clutter up the
- os2.ini and os2sys.ini files more than copies do. I've forgotten the
- exact wording and clutter may not be appropriate, but with all the
- extended attributes, linking, etc. IBM feels that copies will perform
- better and are a better solution. And since your only copying the
- program object, memory usage is not really a problem. I wouldn't think
- there would be much difference between a shadow and a copy in that instance.
