  22. If you specify all your drives for the /AUTOCHECK parameter in the IFS
  23. statement in your config.sys file, then they will _ALL_ be checked if
  24. the system is not shut down right.

  26. My method is a bit brutal, but it will work without the need to boot
  27. from floppy.  As long as there are not _active_ applications or
  28. folders when you reset the computer, you _SHOULD_ not damage anything.
  29. However, _THIS IS NOT GURARNTEED_!

  31. I hang this machine fairly often, since it is a no-name clone and I am
  32. always trying weird things.  Every time the system gets booted without
  33. a proper shutdown, _ALL_ drives get checked and fixed!

  35. NOTE- I am refering to a RESET, not to a warm boot using Ctrl-Alt-Del.
