- I'm using TE/2 to dial in to a sun machine. The only thing
- stopping me from registering is that I can't get zmodem
- downloads working properly yet. The suns are running
- sz on their side. When I try sz file.txt everything works fine
- but sz file.zoo causes a bunch of retries and eventually
- aborts. My sys admin says the correct approach is to use
- sz -e file.zoo with Telix under DOS and to forget TE/2 :(.
- My understanding is that the -e (escape everything) option
- lets the recieving zmodem program know that a binary file is
- incoming. So sz -e file.zoo should work under TE/2 _but_ this
- causes TE/2 to abort right away for me.
-
- Any one know if I should try to get something other than sz
- on the sun side or if I am simply doing somthing stupid? Is
- this a bug in TE/2?
