  31. I saw the first and second issues and have to agree.  It is for the very
  32. simple beginner, of which there are many in this world.

  34. You'll notice that Inside OS/2 has a card in the OS/2 package.
  35. OS/2 Monthly Magazine doesn't have such a card.  Ever wonder why?  Consider
  36. for a moment that OS/2 Monthly Magazine started coming out in January (Inside
  37. OS/2 not till July), OS/2 Monthly Magazine is 56 to 64 pages long (Inside OS/2
  38. is only 12 pages), OS/2 Monthly Magazine is $39/year (US) (Inside OS/2 has
  39. a normal subscription rate of $49 and a cover price of $72/year), and finally
  40. OS/2 Monthly Magazine contains meaty articles (Inside OS/2 is meaty for the
  41. very beginner, IMHO).

  43. IMHO, both publications cover important market segments.  Again my question
  44. is why doesn't IBM provide information about OS/2 Monthly Magazine to its
  45. OS/2 buyers?  Having a magazine (not a newsletter!) is a sign of a healthy
  46. OS/2, which will influence buyers to believe in the staying power of OS/2.
