  12. I have further information on the problem I posted. I finally
  13. ctrl-alt-deleted my way out of the system. When I came back on-line
  14. my swapper.dat file was down to 3 megs again and I was greated by
  15. fractint os/2. Apparently it had never fully closed. But the wierd
  16. thing is that the icon was NOT shadowed (I checked because I had
  17. experienced problems with it previously that same day) and it was
  18. NOT listed in the active window. I'm not surprised. the os/2 version
  19. of fractint was written by someone who admits to being new to os/2
  20. programing. Though how did os/2 'lose' a program? why couldn't I
  21. close the program? (If I double clicked on the fractint icon it
  22. would start a new version of the program) And how do I prevent this
  23. sort of thing from happening in the future?
