- I have further information on the problem I posted. I finally
- ctrl-alt-deleted my way out of the system. When I came back on-line
- my swapper.dat file was down to 3 megs again and I was greated by
- fractint os/2. Apparently it had never fully closed. But the wierd
- thing is that the icon was NOT shadowed (I checked because I had
- experienced problems with it previously that same day) and it was
- NOT listed in the active window. I'm not surprised. the os/2 version
- of fractint was written by someone who admits to being new to os/2
- programing. Though how did os/2 'lose' a program? why couldn't I
- close the program? (If I double clicked on the fractint icon it
- would start a new version of the program) And how do I prevent this
- sort of thing from happening in the future?
- Thanks,
- The Jester
