- I have two rather pressing problems:
- 1.I can't shut my system down. If I choose shut down it asks me if
- I'm sure if I want to close all my applications and such (after
- having a problem I Made sure that NO program is running, I checked
- by pressing ctrl-esc and making sure the list only included the desk
- top), when I answer in the affirmative the popup disapears and
- nothing happens. I have tried repeatedly to shut down to no avail.
- 2.My swapper.dat file is currently at 7340032 bytes according to the
- os/2 file/seek utility. My swapper file USUALLY hovers around 3-4
- megs, not 7.
- My hardware setup is as follows:
- IBM 486DX 33MHZ
- 210 WESTERN DIGITAL PYRANNA DRIVE
- IRWIN INTERNAL TAPE BACKUP
- SOUND BLASTER CARD WITH IRQ SET TO 5
- EXTERNAL 2400 BAUD MODEM
- SUPER VGA W/1 MEG RAM
- 8 MEGS SYSTEM RAM
- I run my screen using a trident 800x600x16 driver.
- I would appretiate any help that can be offered.
