- Regarding OS2 vs Windows 3.1 speed - I wrote my thesis and a monthly newsletter
- with AmiPro 2.0 under Windows 3.0 and 3.1. I have switched mostly to work under
- OS2 now, because a file save command always take a lot less (sometimes in the
- order of 5 secs vs. 30 secs) under Win-OS2. OS2/WPS is noticably slower the
- Win 3.1/Norton Desktop, but I rather take that hit and have fast file saving.

- FWIW, the system setup is 386/25, no cache, 8 mb RAM, FAT file system with
- 1.5 meg DISKCACHE under OS2 and 2 meg SmartDrv cache under Windows 3.1.
