  22. I really shouldn't comment too much on this, seeing that this doesn't have
  23. much to do with OS/2 applications, but this strikes too close to home:

  25. *Never* tell Pournelle to RTFM.  I politely (or so I thought) mentioned it
  26. on his Roundtable in GEnie, and he hit the ceiling, in an electronic sense.
  27. I'm afraid that he took my suggestion as a grievous insult, since he posted
  28. a bunch of messages telling the world how I was insulting him.

  30. In any event, the only way that he got OS/2 installed was by the assistance
  31. of an IBM SE who came out after Pournelle bitched and moaned to everyone in
  32. electronic sight.

  34. I suspect that he still hasn't read any of the printed documentation yet,
  35. or any of the on-line help files.

  47. rather upset, informing me in very blunt terms that he didn't care a whit
  48. about what I thought.  It is rather humorous, though I must admit that I am
  49. not impressed by his ability to accept criticism.
