  13. I just installed OS/2 2.0, and I need some tips on what Shareware/Freeware
  14. to get that will help me out.

  16. What I plan on doing is Programming, Games, sound card applications, word
  17.   processing, in that order.

  19. Another thing, I need some hints that will speed up OS/2 (yes I already have
  20.   the faq). God knows I need it: 386/25 with 4MB RAM, os/2 installed on
  21.   45 MB partition, plain VGA, 16k ram cache. Hopefully, I'll be buying a
  22.   486/33 or 50 soon, but for now, such info would be helpful.

  24. One more thing. When I'm running Telix on full screen Dos, and connected
  25.   to a U. of Mich host at 19200 bps, it displays about a dozen characters,    
  26.   pauses for a second or two, then displays another dozen, and so on. Things   
  27.   speed up if I press a key. I find this really annoying, so what Dos settings
  28.   do I need to mess with? I tried a few video settings but they didn't seem
  29.   to help.
