  19. The only really tricky part of the interface is the dial type controls in 
  20. "color edit".  They are custom xv items, not from a toolkit.  It would 
  21. be a nice package to have but it would be a *very* big project.

  23. Perhaps it would be better to start with Wingif which is a reasonable
  24. image tool and extend its features to match xv.  The problem there is 
  25. talking the wingif author out of his code.
