  19. No, but then neither does TeX, in both cases you specify that the correction
  20. should be done. In Word it done using the Kerning features, in TeX
  21. you put a \/ after the word that needs the italic correction.
  22. In Word, you decide the size of the italic correction; in TeX, Donald Knuth
  23. dictates the size.
