- I recently added the AdLib sound driver to my 386SX running
- Windows 3.1. Now I can play .WAV file. Great. I can even
- hook up all the Windows events to play sounds when the
- occur. Terriffic.
-
- What'd I'd really like to do is go back to the default, where
- a beep was a beep through the speaker. I can't seem to find
- any way to do this without removing the AdLib driver completely.
-
- I'd like to be able to use the AdLib driver to play .WAV files
- and emit sounds from games, etc. I just don't want it to be
- part of the user interface of all my other programs.
-
- I don't want to turn off sounds. I do want the default beep.
-
- Is there any way to do what I want?
-
- Thanks,
