  14. I recently added the AdLib sound driver to my 386SX running
  15. Windows 3.1.  Now I can play .WAV file.  Great.  I can even
  16. hook up all the Windows events to play sounds when the
  17. occur.  Terriffic.

  19. What'd I'd really like to do is go back to the default, where
  20. a beep was a beep through the speaker.  I can't seem to find
  21. any way to do this without removing the AdLib driver completely.

  23. I'd like to be able to use the AdLib driver to play .WAV files
  24. and emit sounds from games, etc.  I just don't want it to be
  25. part of the user interface of all my other programs.

  27. I don't want to turn off sounds.  I do want the default beep.
