- I have been told by MS Tech Support that the reason why I get
- GP faults in VGA.DRV and KRNL386.EXE all the time is that my
- video driver may be incompatible. I'm using the standard VGA driver.
-
- So can anyone tell me:
-
- (a) How come the VGA driver can mess up my system, while
- thousands of others use it with no problems? Is it the
- VGA BIOS's fault?
-
- (b) Where can a get a *NEW* OAK VGA driver for *3.1*?
- I know about the large zip file on cica.cica.indiana.edu
- (something like 67_win.zip?), but it doesn't have a
- standard VGA (640x480x16) driver in there. I tried some
- of the others but they don't work.
-
- (c) If all else fails, does anyone at least have a contact
- address for OAK? Are they still in business? A European
- address/phone would be preferable (ideally the UK).
-
- Thanks a lot!
