- I have a 486 with the Trident 8900c (1Mb), and I have installed _ALL_
- the trident drivers (and the standard windows vga drivers) at one time
- or another while benchmarking my system, and I have _NEVER_ had any
- problems :-). My monitor is an AOC 14" interlaced type. I currently
- have installed a beta version of the trident 800x600x256 driver (I only
- put it on two nights ago, so it is early days - but it seems fine).
- I think that the 800x600x256 driver is the best compromise for my
- system, as 1024x768x256 is too small to use for any length of time,
- especially on my monitor. (I like 256 colour bitmaps for windows
- wallpaper!)
